Ice Queen by Joey W. Hill

Ice Queen by Joey W. HillJoey Hill brings her readers highly sophisticated writing along with an emotional roller coaster ride that leaves you breathless, gripping the sides of your chair, and thrilled from the ride!

Though much of her work is BDSM, she has built her reputation on award-winning romances with absorbing characters who not only attract fans of the genre, but readers who would “never” read BDSM romance.

Ice Queen is third in the Nature of Desire series. Our heroine is called the Ice Queen. At the exclusive BDSM club known as The Zone, Mistress Marguerite is a legend. Tyler Winterman has been fascinated with her since he’s known her, though the rules of their world say they shouldn’t share more than mutual admiration. He is her male counterpart, one of the most powerful male Doms practicing at The Zone.

Due to a computer error, Marguerite lacks the mentoring program stipulation required of all Zone Doms, which includes spending a number of hours learning about BDSM from the submissive’s perspective. Tyler considers it an act of fate that Marguerite chooses him to be the Dom who helps her fulfill that requirement. He is convinced she is a “switch”, a closet submissive, but the truth will be even more remarkable than the theory, changing their lives in ways neither of them anticipates.

Having no equal except one another in their skills at stripping a sub’s defenses bare, these two Dominants will turn their considerable talents on each other and discover that who is Master and who is slave doesn’t matter, not when two souls have found their mate.

I have to say, I absolutely LOVE this series. Between this one & Cherise Sinclair’s Shadowlands Series there are some really great BDSM characters that emotionally wrench your heart while forcing you to admire their strength. I love how both series truly highlight the character and emotional fortitude it takes to let go and entrust yourself into the keeping of someone honorable who understands and appreciates the value of the gift they’re being given. Marguerite is by far my most favorite female character.

Kat! What a beautifully written comment – wow! I am honored and grateful you stopped by to share the LOVE!

I could not agree with you more… it takes so much courage to be truly vulnerable and to let go 100%. I especially love your phrase “entrust yourself into the keeping of someone honorable who understands and appreciates the value of the gift they are being given.” May I use this quote in my next post, which is about the Myths 50 Shades of Grey created about BDSM.

Perhaps you have already shared your feedback with Joey… I will still let her know about your lovely thoughts and sentiments. She’ll be thrilled!

      With deep appreciation,
      Ande
